My name is Dave Adelson, and I’m running for President of the ELAC Chapter of AFT1521.
I am running for Chapter President at ELAC because I think we need a higher level of member engagement and communication to be a strong and effective chapter. I want to help make that happen.
The campaign doesn’t have a lot of expenses, but it does have some.
These include paying fees for website hosting and templates, paying contractors for website and design help, and expenses to host gatherings for interested faculty members to get together. Funds will only go for this last, to pay for refreshments, to the extent available. At the end of the campaign I will send a statement of how funds were spent to all donors. Any funds remaining at the end of the election will be devoted to gathering faculty for the purpose of discussing issues of interest to our faculty, and/or will be donated to the Guild.
